Reviews By Kim S. from Wilmington, IL Posted Mar 12, 2013 I came to see Terry for issues with my 5 year old son. Since he was younger he has had sensory issues. He would squeeze things (like the cats!), bite things (like me!) and was hyper-active. At bed time he could not get enough snuggles. He'd sit in my lap and I'd hug him and love him but it was never enough. He'd cry before bedtime and say he still needed me. I am a stay at home mom and I know he was getting enough affection! I had no idea why he had these problems, but Terry did.
WITHOUT EVEN SEEING MY SON, Terry gave me some helpful advice that changed things around for him. The problem he had was that he needed more stimulation to his system than what I was giving him (the fancy word is sensory issues). With a simple exercise at night that took only TWO MINUTES, I was able to give my son the stimulation he needed and make his body feel right for him. He wouldn't need an hour of snuggle and hug time, just 2 minutes and he would be so happy and off to bed.
She helped me to be able to meet my sons physical needs so perfectly it's amazing!
Her work is wonderful and for any body/phyisical/skeletal issues, I would see her before anyone else. She's wonderful!
